Do you still need a website if you are on Instagram?
Instagram and a website do different jobs. One helps people see you, the other helps them find and choose you.

Instagram is where a lot of small businesses found their first customers, and for many it still works. So the question is fair. The honest answer is that the two do different jobs.
What Instagram is good at
Showing new stock, reels, the day-to-day of the business, and staying in front of people who already follow you. It is a feed, and it is built to be scrolled.
Where it falls short
- Search. When someone types "boutique near me" or "cake shop in Kharar" into Google, your posts rarely appear. A website with the right title and description can.
- The basics get buried. Timings, price lists, location and delivery areas sink under new posts. Customers ask in DMs, and you answer the same question twenty times a week.
- You do not own it. An account can be restricted, hacked or quietly shown to fewer people after an algorithm change. A website on your own domain stays yours.
- Trust. Schools, offices and larger customers often look for a website before they place an order or sign anything.
The setup that works
Use Instagram to be seen, and the website to be found and chosen. Put the website link in your bio, and show a few of your best posts on the website. When people ask about prices or timings, send them to the page that answers it.
How much it takes
For a shop or small business, one well-made page is enough to start. That is what our Shop Starter is: a fast mobile page with your products, WhatsApp, Google Maps and local search, from ₹10,000 while slots last.
